How long after eating can Food Intolerance symptoms appear?

A food intolerance is caused by your body not being able to digest a certain food or an ingredient in food. After eating, symptoms of a food intolerance can last for a few days and can begin around half an hour after eating the food.

 

The most common food intolerance is lactose, but you can also be intolerant to gluten, histamines, caffeine and alcohol.

It can be difficult to come to a conclusion about what you’re intolerant to. You can also do a home food intolerance test which will give you a detailed report for all things your’re sensitive to.

 

If your result matches what you thought your intolerance could be, you then need to figure out your new diet by making swaps. This might sound like a difficult task, but once you know what alternatives are out there for things like gluten or lactose, it will become an easy task that becomes part of your everyday life.
